Every GSUIT film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty on the material, handled in Australia by GSUIT Australia. Here’s what it covers, what it doesn’t, and how a claim works.

What’s covered
For 10 years from installation, the warranty covers defects in the film material itself that appear under normal use after a correct installation, including:
- Yellowing or discolouration of clear film
- Cracking, crazing or blistering of the film or its top coat
- Bubbling or delamination caused by the adhesive
- Loss of the self-healing property under normal conditions
If a claim is accepted, the faulty film is replaced. The warranty covers the film material only: it doesn’t cover labour, removal or reinstallation costs.
What isn’t covered
- Installation that doesn’t follow good practice: film overstretched into recesses, edges left under tension, panels not decontaminated, or the wrong slip or tack solutions used.
- Film applied over paint that was damaged, poorly bonded or not fully cured, including fresh resprays.
- Accident, impact or vandalism damage, and stone or debris strikes that cut through the film.
- Harsh or abrasive care: solvents, cutting compounds, stiff brushes, or pressure washing aimed at film edges.
- Fitting to surfaces or uses the film isn’t designed for, or in ways that breach local vehicle rules.
- Normal wear, and minor changes in appearance that don’t affect the film’s protection.
- Labour, removal and reinstallation costs, and any loss beyond the cost of the replacement film.
Making a claim
- 1The installer contacts us. Claims come through the business that fitted the film, which knows the job and the panel history.
- 2Send the order number for the film, the installation date, the vehicle, and clear photos of the issue in daylight, close up and from a distance.
- 3We assess the claim, with the manufacturer where needed, and reply with the outcome. If the material is faulty, we replace the film.
